Nancy Jean Hannett was called home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2019. She was born on April 25, 1961, in Indianapolis, In., to Barbra and Robert Johnson. Nancy was one of six children. She leaves behind her loving husband, Mike Hannett; her sons, Jerramy (Whitney) Johnson, and Michael Hannett; grandchildren, Cooper and Ian Johnson; and siblings, Rick Johnson, Diana Springer, Donna Presnell. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Larry Johnson and Rita Sloan.
A sister, devoted wife, and an amazing mother, Nancy’s favorite title was Nana. She adored spending time with her grandkids. Her family, friends, and helping others was Nancy’s true joy in life.
Her loving nature, willingness to give, and selflessness were unmatched. She spent many days volunteering and was always willing to help others. Nancy touched everyone she came across in life. Let us all take away and implement some of these qualities. Let us all remember her and keep her in our hearts forever.
Family and friends will gather from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Indiana Funeral Care, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m.

My sympathies to the Hannett family. I’m so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that one day soon “death will be no more.” (Revelation 21:4) Not only will we not experience death, but we have the hope of being reunited with our loved ones we have lost to death. This will take place by means of the resurrection hope, mentioned in the Bible at John 5:28,29. Imagine how you’ll feel when your dear loved one, Nancy, is brought back to life, in a beautiful new paradise on earth! It’s not a mere dream, but a future that will soon be realized. (Revelation 21:5)

Nancy was an amazing person full of love and kindness. Not only is she a family member, but I got to be her nurse once too. She was full of life and just loved life. Mike has been nothing but an angel on earth by her side as both of them had to go through so much and he was so strong as she was too. He took amazing care of her and they truly loved each other. My heart goes out to the entire family as this is a huge loss for us, she just always made everyone smile.

Right now, when your loss is so fresh, it may be difficult for you to imagine that this pain will ever go away. But in time the blessing of God’s unfailing love will soften the hurt you’re feeling and bring your heart the peace, comfort and hope that it needs to heal. How? Revelation 21:4 tells us that soon everything that causes us pain, including death, will be gone forever. We also have the hope of our loved ones being resurrected here on a paradise earth, as Acts 24:15, Luke 23:43Â tells us. I do hope you find comfort in this.
Though I did not know your Nancy, she sound like a beautiful person. I am touched by your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. (JW.org).

Heartfelt condolences to all the family. Especially Mike and Michael. Nancy was a special person. She was willing to give her kindness, caring and love ,ANYTHING that was needed on the spur of the moment. She was in this world with courage and spunk and went to heaven the same way…She was a friend to many and will be missed by those who loved her for the remainder of time on this Earth. I won’t say good-bye but until we meet again, fly high with the grace and courage God has given you Nancy…..with love from Bunny..
